Another wonderful J.H. Kent photograph added to the fold. This time a CDV of a toddler boy placed behind a sofa with his hands over the back. I love how plain everything is so the focus is exclusively on the sitter, and I love that one of the buttons of the jacket is undone. No matter how still the pose seems, this is still an active little kid!

I could never work out why the barker had to cut out that piece of hair below the parting on the right side, I used to hate it lol

Ha ha ha! No clue. Maybe because then the kid wouldn’t have his hair in the eyes when it grew? A cheap way of going to the barber less often?

He looks so angelic, there was an old song called “My Brother” by Terry Scott and there was a line that he was good when he was asleep but you didn’t know what he was dreaming lol
