RPPC. c.1920. Private Collection.
A beautiful Swedish photo studio portrait of three handsome friends taken anytime from the mid 10’s to the mid 20’s. All three are sporting different types of fedoras too. The one with his arms crossed has an attitude to go with the low brimmed hat. Attitude seems to be a theme of its own in this collection. :)
Photographer: (?)manda Sandberg. Sollefteå, Sweden.

What a stunning portrait! I just love the drama in the pose, from the serious look of the man sitting down to the hands on the hips of the two standing. Such a great photo. They’re a good-looking bunch!

Thank you, Jenna! Yes, they all are, the three of them. I agree, the poses are fantastic. :)

An interesting grouping, they look like they’re trying to be gangsters but having too much fun to pull it off

I thought about that too. Gangsters were like movie stars, for better or worse, so I can see teens emulating their look. But then it also was the classic look of the period, so who knows. Whatever they were going for, it’s a fun photo!

You are very good at spotting some great ‘attitude’ in your subjects. Love this!

Lol thanks! I’m not consciously looking for attitude but they sip through. The more well-dressed, the more pride.
