Fashion is an endless rehash of the past, this picture is the perfect example. Today you could run into urbanite men wearing the exact same fitted suit as the man to the left, with the sleeves just a bit too short with no shirt sleeve peeking through. It also reminds me of Pee Wee Herman’s!
But seriously, these two were quite the sight. The RPPC suffered a crease by the head of the gent to the right but that wasn’t enough of a deterrent for me to not get it. They were most definitely brothers who would have been considered fashion forward in their time. The shirt collar over the lapels isn’t a common sight on RPPCs either.

I have some horribly dilapidated photos that I treasure for the damage – where it is obvious it was handled a lot through love – or have images so striking, the damage is irrelevant as it is for u with this one. Great pic!

Yes! And I have a paper moon real photo postcard I haven’t posted yet that has a big crease too, but the image is so cute it’s still worth getting, and putting in a rigid sleeve to prevent further damage.

Love those ridged sleeves! Can’t get them here, so have to make do with the ones I occasionally get when sellers send pics in them.

I don’t know yet where to get them either! But like you I get them often enough that I use them on the most valuable or damaged ones. ;)
