This is such a sweet real photo postcard of a would-be couple embracing across a fence they wish weren’t between them.
And this is an Edwardian mass produced one where the gentleman isn’t wearing high contrast eye makeup and rouge on the lips.

Sometimes less is more, and in the case of this postcard it is exceedingly true. I find this image incredibly sexy. The way she looks into the distance with her arm resting under the head. And his light kiss on the curve of her jaw.
I find it interesting the picture was shot vertically with the man on top, yet the postcard company decided to publish it horizontally. Well, I choose to post this picture the way it was shot. If Americans could do really sweet and funny postcards, this one proves the French did the sexy with flair. A hundred years later this image still feels timelessly gorgeous and sensual.

These two German kids are too adorable for words! The older one stands with a comically high bowler on his head and a large bouquet of daisies, while his little toddler friend has his hands in pockets with a mini walking stick on the arm and a pork pie hat. They’re posing like pros in their grown-up suits, and I just about died!
They’re too much, are they not? I hope there are others out there of the series.
