Three best buddies on a street

3bestbuddies

Notice the front boy’s sneakers. These look like precursors of Chuck Taylors. And the long shadows of a late afternoon they cast! A great little photograph.

OMG – a mustache!

Neck scarf wearing mustached gentleman of the 1860s-1870s.

A very nice CDV vignette of a mustached man -the first on this blog, but not the last -ba-dum-ching!

A Group of Friends from Novia Scotia

A very interesting cabinet card of seven friends posing together. A good example of the men’s fashion of the 1880s.

They shot Freddy in the hand!

Bootleggers or just bad looking buddies? Personal Collection.

Pals in crime.  Private Collection.

A favorite of my collection. Who were these guys? Some look related and one is displaying amputated fingers. What’s his story? What’s theirs?

The one on the top right just saw a cop!

And every single one with his fedora and unlit cigarette in the mouth. One thing is sure, they were their own gang and must have had a good laugh looking at their picture.

This photograph gives me a good chuckle every time I see it.

Extremely High Collar Wearing Man with Wife

I missed out on this one to get another, but it is well worth adding to this site. The gentleman is wearing a very high collar, and this looks like their wedding picture.
