Nice day for a round of golf! This gentleman’s got everything: the clubs, the foldable Kodak camera, and what I assume are the plus-fours for the sport folded under his arm.
I was given this snapshot as a gift. How nice!

This young man looks quite happy in his straw boater and bowtie. Isn’t his big smile infectious? This photograph is postcard size but a bit narrower. An early candid taken outdoors in the sunlight, perhaps a ‘selfie’? :) Of the period there aren’t too many informal pictures of people taken so close to the face.

These two photographs are of the same pilot. The captions are annotations found on the back. We have dates and places. This pilot wrote everything but his name…On the first he’s at the helm of a single engine civilian airplane even though he’s wearing his uniform. I’ve tried to make out the model but can’t. On the second I see what looks like barracks behind him. Texas was the state for the USAAF to train during WWII. Well, at least we know he made it through!

Leaning into his beautiful girlfriend this soldier had a reason to smile. They match, don’t they? Her glossy brunette hair matches his, and below that tightly pleated and floor length skirt her shoes match his boots too. She’s also seated with crossed legs like him.
My guess is this was an American couple from the 1920’s.
